Off to the pictures

Since my last post my esteemed ami Francois has sent me several dozen excellent pictures. Many date from 1947/8 and will be published under their respective years, or in the melange; others are from the first and second world wars; there’s also a great batch of pre-Great War pics from the USA and…you get the idea. Normal service on the timeline (eg 1948) will be suspended while I get stuck into the photo files. I’ll post updates so you can check out the latest additions. As a taster here’s a snap of a nipper and his Adler.

  1. Hi

in my “Not Tragatsch” on ozebook.com I have Limited motorcycles as being
produced in the USA from 1914-15. I will have to see if I can unearth
    any more info.

    cheers

    1. Hi Murray, Many thanks for that; I had tried to check your invaluable ‘Tragatsch-plus’ as so often before but the link’s not working. I’ve been meeting to email you but, as usual, was distracted by the pressures of being a pensioner in Wootton Bridge. I trust life’s treating you well mate, ‘Chatter’ is the only motor cycle magazine I read nowadays and it remains an absorbing read. Cheers Dave

      1. Hi

        good to hear from you…

Damn nuisance with the link being broken…in fact the whole site was
buggered……having lot of trouble with wordpress lately……maybe
easier to just revert to html!!

Anyway, rebuilt the site and the thing seems to be working; although
still having trouble with files in the cloud.

Despite all it is operational and I guess I will have to spend days now
trying to work out why it buggered up.

I too am a pensioner and too busy trying to write books at present to
        waste time debugging wordpress.

If I was an IT expert maybe it would be easier but I an expert at nothing.

You have been very busy with your timeline…..trust the extracts in the
Chatter are working for you…one day I might pull all the extracts in
the Chatter into one file as a sort of condensed timeline!

        cheers

        Murray
